Manjedal Activities Centre- Campsite Information

VEHICLES, BICYCLES AND WALKING
Access to and from Manjedal can be by vehicle, but during this, users’ access around Manjedal should be via bicycle or walking, and not by vehicle. The allowed speed at Manjedal is 15km per hour due to road degradation and pedestrian/cyclist safety. Vehicles and parking are prohibited where it indicates ‘No Parking’, ‘No Access’, ‘No Vehicles Beyond This Point’ and ‘Keep Clear’.

CATERING
We offer a few caterers, delivering variety that pleases all palates, and quality service at an affordable price. Dietary requirements are respected. Ask for our Catering Information Package, or feel free to self cater. The group is responsible for the caterers’ accommodation and / or day visit charges.

CLEANING
Manjedal Activities Centre is a “self-clean” facility, requiring groups to clean the buildings, both during their stay and before departure. As a general rule you should endeavour to leave the facility as you found it. This policy allows us to keep accommodation costs to a minimum. Cleaning instructions are provided. Only mops and mop buckets, brooms, scrubbing brooms and dustpans and brooms are supplied by Manjedal. Groups are required to bring cleaning agents, kitchen bin bags and other materials. When groups allow youth to be responsible for the final clean, adults must inspect thoroughly and ensure this is done correctly. Bins are provided for recycling and general garbage - please help us to protect the environment. If cleaning is not to a suitable standard, cleaning costs will be deducted from the group’s bond, or an invoice will be raised. Groups may hire Manjedal’s cleaning services during their stay and / or after departure, by ordering this and indicating it on the booking form (charges apply).

PROGRAMMING
You may prefer Manjedal to create a full programme for your group, upon booking. This would entail choosing specific activities and team games to suit your group’s requirements. We take into account the number of persons, their ages, their abilities and / or expectations, while fitting within your desired price range. We follow themes, be they relaxing, challenging, adventurous, team building, anti bullying and bonding, competitive or enjoyable.
