CLEANING Manjedal Activities Centre is a “self-clean” facility, requiring groups to clean the buildings, both during their stay and before departure. As a general rule you should endeavour to leave the facility as you found it. This policy allows us to keep accommodation costs to a minimum. Cleaning instructions are provided. Only mops and mop buckets, brooms, scrubbing brooms and dustpans and brooms are supplied by Manjedal. Groups are required to bring cleaning agents, kitchen bin bags and other materials. When groups allow youth to be responsible for the final clean, adults must inspect thoroughly and ensure this is done correctly. Bins are provided for recycling and general garbage - please help us to protect the environment. If cleaning is not to a suitable standard, cleaning costs will be deducted from the group’s bond, or an invoice will be raised. Groups may hire Manjedal’s cleaning services during their stay and / or after departure, by ordering this and indicating it on the booking form (charges apply).
